Listen,
Honestly,
Truthfully,
I don’t care.

Not about how you imagine me to be,
Of that perfect image bred inside your mind.
I’m not that.
And no I am not saying this because I believe myself to be less,
So you can counteract and say that I’m lovable.
In all honesty, I know that.
Do not let my words confuse you.
Do not try to teach me that broken is still beautiful.
Its not.
But what matters is the willingness to understand that the pieces have scattered,
And not to love them, but to accept.

And I do. I accept me. Wholesome.
No, I am not who you think I am.

~I know how to stand on my feet.
