We all have those sweet little memories we tend to visit every now and then. I have them too.
Memories, like that high school math teacher everybody had a crush on.
And the time we fell from bicycle while racing each other. Memories of examination halls, our playful minds during recess.
Memories of our first meet, our first conversation, our first smile and our first kiss. Those memories also contain, our first fight, our first break, our first tears and our first mistake.
I always like to visit these sweet little memories we created during our possessed love alliance, possessed by your intimacy.
I know I’m living with memories more than I should be living with my current self these days. It is very intoxicating being stuck in the past and rewinding all that pain and hurt exerted on me.
Yes, memories are to be cherished and remembered, but do not forget to make more of them in present and futures to come.
Note to Self : You don’t have to live with your memories, just make a short stop every now and then, embrace all the lessons it taught you and move on to the next journey. Do not get absorbed by the lustrous history, acknowledge the present you have, and just move on!
